Large Animal & 4-H
Driggs Veterinary Clinic recognizes how hard it can be to find care for your equine or farm animal. We are happy to offer routine care for horses, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. We are proud to support our local 4-H!
Large Animal
Living in rural Idaho, we understand how important livestock is to local culture. We also understand how important our ranchers and farmers are, and how lack of veterinary care for livestock can be stressful. Our team is ready to help any way we can!
If you require a ranch call, please make sure to call the clinic! Please have all of the following information ready and available when you call to schedule - the type of appointment needed, a head count of any animals that the vet will be examining, and the physical address our veterinary team will need to go to.
Please Note: Our schedule does not always allow us to make emergency ranch calls. Our receptionists may be able to refer you to mobile veterinarians in the area or give you some resources if we are unable to accommodate an emergency ranch call. We make every effort to accommodate any haul-in emergency during business hours.

We are grateful that we have the ability, knowledge, and facilities to take care of your equine needs. Our clinic offers all wellness care including vaccinations, Coggins (EIA) testing, dental floats, pregnancy ultrasounds, and health certificates.
We also offer medical management of a variety of other conditions, and can refer you to our specialist partners for more advanced imaging or surgical care if needed.
Please call to schedule!

While we don’t see as many cattle as we used to, our team still works hard to keep their skills dialed in.
We offer Brucellosis vaccines as well as Brucellosis testing, TB testing, Trich testing, pregnancy checks, and semen testing among other services. Just need vaccinations? Give the clinic a call so we can check our stock or order the vaccinations you need!

We have a lot of cumulative experience with alpaca, goats, sheep, pigs, and other farm animals. Whether your pig has a cough or you have a lamb that’s not doing well, our team is equipped to help with your needs.
If you have any questions regarding farm animal services, please call the clinic.
4-H Information
Driggs Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer veterinary services for 4-H animals. Our clinic has worked with our local 4-H chapters, both those in Teton County Idaho and Teton County Wyoming (for Alta residents), since the 1970s. Our clinic also participates in the annual 4-H livestock sale. Whether you have a steer, pig, sheep, rabbit, or anything else, our veterinarians are ready to help you tackle your 4-H needs.
The local 4-H chapter leaders will often schedule a “vet-check” day at the fairgrounds ahead of the livestock show and auction. Please check in with your local 4-H representative to stay up-to-date on when the “vet-check” day is taking place! Can’t make the “vet-check” date? No worries! Our team is happy to work with you to make sure your 4-H animal meets the requirements for the livestock show and auction.
