End of Life Services

Driggs Veterinary Clinic emphasizes the importance of empathy, compassion, and kindness for families during this transition. We understand that this is the hardest decision many pet owners will ever make.

We understand how hard the decision to let a loved companion go can be. There are so many factors that play into your pet’s quality of life, and it can be difficult to know when the “right time” is to say goodbye. Our team strives to make this process as stress-free as possible for you and your pet during this sensitive time.

When our schedule allows we can accommodate at-home euthanasia, but please know that these types of appointments can not always be made same-day. Our clinic doors are always open to help transition your pet through this final stage, whether an appointment has been scheduled or not. Each and every member of Driggs Veterinary Clinic has experienced the loss of a pet, and understands what a fragile time this is for families. Let us know how we can make this process easier for you, and we will do what we can to accommodate your request.

Euthanasia Services

Driggs Veterinary Clinic works with Staker Animal Cremations to ensure that your pet’s remains are handled with the care and respect they deserve. Staker Animal Cremations offers private cremations, ensuring that the remains you receive are those of your beloved pet. Staker Animal Cremations offers their services to any animal under 300 pounds.

Staker Animal Cremations receives and delivers remains every Monday. All remains are returned to owners in a wooden urn with a custom brass nameplate, and clay pawprints and/or ink prints can be made in-clinic if requested. If you would like a specific type of clay or ink pawprint, hair clippings, or whisker clippings, please let your technician or front-desk staff know so we can honor that request appropriately. Clay and ink prints can also be made for pets that are not companion animals (reptiles, pocket pets, birds) upon request.
