Exotic Animal Care

It can be difficult to find exotic-pet care in Southeastern Idaho, and while we are not specialists, we do our best to provide the best care possible. We partner with numerous other primary care veterinarians in the region who have special interests in specific species, and we are happy to provide husbandry advice and assistance for any species.

  • We are happy to offer rabbit spays and neuters at our clinic, as well as bloodwork and imaging when needed.

“Pocket Pets” refer to small mammals such as Sugar Gliders, Chinchillas, Rats, Gerbils, Hamsters, and Guinea Pigs. We are happy to evaluate your pocket pet, perform imaging and offer treatment. We do partner with a compounding pharmacy for any medication needs.

‍ If you have any questions about what care options are available for your pet, please give the clinic a call!

  • We have limited capabilities to diagnose and treat reptiles at this time. We can offer our help with husbandry issues, retained sheds, or diet questions, but we are limited in the event of an emergency. If you are experiencing an emergency with your reptile, please click here.

We will absolutely help any way we can. We are happy to provide information on alternative veterinary clinics in the area that may be better suited for your reptile’s needs.

  • Birds are very delicate when compared to mammals! Our staff is trained to handle birds properly, and we can offer routine care such as beak and nail trims.

We are able to offer imaging and basic supportive care for your feathered friend. Please call to discuss your concerns with our reception staff.
